Vous vous souvenez de nous ? Et oui cela va faire un an maintenant que vous aviez reçu un mail annonçant que les fêtes approchaient à grand pas ... et parmi ces fêtes notre traditionnel dîner de Noël en faveur des plus démunis !! Inutile de vous faire un dessin puisque vous êtes toutes et tous déjà venus nous aider les années précédentes et ce, pour notre plus grand bonheur !! Encore un tout grand merci pour ces merveilleux moments :-)
Ainsi, nous espérons que vous reviendrez nombreux nous apporter votre aide ainsi que votre bonne humeur légendaire !! La préparation et le dîner se dérouleront comme d'habitude le jour de Noël, à savoir le 25/12 (jeudi) !!! Comme l'an dernier, la vaisselle est également obligatoire pour tous, qu'on se le dise ;-)
Les inscriptions sont donc ouvertes par simple 'reply' avec une fois encore plusieurs options cumulables :
1/ Team1-Je viens aider toute la journée (àpd 13h)
2/ Team2-L'après-midi seulement (de 13 à 18h)
3/ Team3-Le soir seulement (àpd 18h)
4/ G envie mais je vs confirmerai au plus tard le 15/12, mais je réponds quand même tout de suite.
5/ Désolé(e), cela sera malheureusement pour une prochaine fois (gardez moi dans votre listing)
6/ Je dispose d'une voiture et peux transporter X personnes
7/ Je reste pour faire la fête après (23h00)
8/ Je peux aider la veille à récolter des vivres (le 24/12 vers +/- 18h)
La réponse idéale étant bien entendu 1+6+7+8 ;-)
Ne fermez pas ce mail avant d'y avoir répondu (= 15 sec) !!! Au pire répondez l'option '4' (G envie mais je vs confirmerai au plus tard le 15/12 !! ). Une fois confirmé, un second mail vous parviendra avec les informations pratiques. Les réponses jugées 'tardives' ne seront pas acceptées pour l'envoi du second mail.
Encore une fois, nous comptons sur vous et nous vous remercions d'avance quelque soit votre réponse !!!

for the dinner we surely need funds to buy everyhthing our sponsor don't give (plates, forks, knifes in plastic materials, cups, ...) but we also need drinks (water, coffee, orange juice, ...). If you want to give us food, it would be great if you could provide the same dish in a big quantity (+/- 150 people) to avoid jalousy. I had a chat with wife and daughter this morning just before they set off to work and school (son still in bed) and we discussed the options for helping out with your Christmas dinner. We could buy plates, knives, forks, drinks etc. Alternatively we could make a fruit salad (only an idea, we don’t have the space in our kitchen do canteen cooking). If it’s plates and drinks (or something else you prefer) let us know the sort of quantities you are talking about. If it’s a fruit salad, the kids and I would prepare it (according to wife’s recipe – she’ll be working around Christmas) and the wife and we would deliver it. First of all logistics. We would need to buy plastic bowls with tops to transport the fruit salad: how many bowls would be enough for 150 or so people? Where would we deliver them to? At what time? I suppose we could provide 150 or so plastic bowls to put the salad in plus spoons! What do you think of these ideas?

Sorry for the late anwser, we had an activity yesterday with the association (we also give cookies every 2 weeks at the central station of Brussels to the homeless) so we haven't had a lot of time to answer your mail.
Very good idea for a fresh fruit salads, the homeless will adore it !!! 150 bowls + spoon will be great !!! (we will buy the rest knives, cups...)
for logisitics, we can invite you to prepare it in the kitchen we will use to prepare the dinner : you & your family are very welcome. We will be around 20 people preparing the dinner from 13h00 the 25th december.
Here is the address and pratical information (in french sorry):
- Date : jeudi 25/12/2007
- 13h00 : Cuisine = (c'est toujours la même école)
- 18h30 : Briefing = il est impératif pour tous et se déroulera à la cuisine, soyez à l'heure !!
Pouvez-vous apporter chacun(e):
- vos essuies de vaisselle personnels (important !)
- un bon couteau/épelucheur de pdt => tip: marquez vos affaires!!
- un petit déguisement/déco pour mettre l'ambiance dans la gare ;-)))
- et votre bonne humeur habituelle, of course :-)
